In proud partnership with The Mall of America, MMC's Winter Spotlight Series continues with a concert event on Thursday, February 9th! Join us on select Thursdays throughout the Winter for live entertainment in the Huntington Bank Rotunda, spanning a wide variety of musical genres and representing Minnesota's diverse network of independent musicians. Our featured MMC member artist for February 9th is the Kendra Glenn Band!

About the artist:
Born in Chicago IL, Kendra, the product of a musical family, realized her gift of singing at the tender age of 10 when she began singing in the church choir. Kendra moved to the Twin cities in the early 90’s and has definitely made herself a household name on the entertainment scene, her rich soulful tone and vocal styling are undeniable. Throughout her 24 years of performing she’s worked with several local bands here in the cities which currently includes her band KGB (Kendra Glenn Band) She’s worked with The R-Factor, Vic Volare, Nicholas David Mrozinski and the feeling band (3rd winner up on the Voice) and countless others. She has also sung backgrounds for National recording artist such as: Scott Holt, blues guitarist for Buddy Guy. Joaquin Quino McWhinney from the international Reggae Band Big Mountain. Sue Ann Carewell protégé to our very own Prince Rogers Nelson, Marv One Gunn from Marzarti, and Mr. Andre Fischer Grammy award winning writer/producer/drummer for Rufus and Chaka Khan also, Senior VP for MCA records. She has also opened up for National recording acts such as Rolls Royce, Dazz Band, and Cameo. Kendra has certainly left indelible mark as being one of Minneapolis’ top female vocalists!
