In proud partnership with The Mall of America, MMC's Winter Spotlight Series continues with a concert event on Thursday, March 30th! Join us on select Thursdays throughout the Winter for live entertainment in the Huntington Bank Rotunda, spanning a wide variety of musical genres and representing Minnesota's diverse network of independent musicians. Our featured MMC member artist for March 30th is Hailey James! 

About the artist:
2021 Midwest Country Music Organization New Artist of the Year & Song of the Year(“Wide Awake”) Winner, Hailey James is a singer/songwriter/performer/recording artist who grew up in Cottage Grove, MN. She went from playing shows in her hometown to reaching audiences all over the Twin Cities, western Wisconsin, and even into Nashville, TN. Hailey found her place on stage as a weekly featured artist the summer of 2018 at Country Nites Saloon in Hasting, MN at the age of 14 years old. Since then, she has joined the Midwest Country Music Organization, Songtown, and the Minnesota Music Coalition. Her musical inspiration comes from artists like Carrie Underwood, Kelsea Ballerini and Lauren Alaina. Destined for stardom this young musician has an ear for music and first learned how to play guitar by watching YouTube videos. It is Hailey's dream to share her original songs and be part of the singer/songwriter scene in Nashville. Hailey is currently writing original songs with up-and-coming Nashville artists and accomplished chart-topping hit Nashville songwriters, and her songs can be heard being played on radio stations all across the Midwest.
